Who says toys are just for kids? Adults can dive into the fun and rediscover their playful side too!
June is Voltron Month
If you grew up in the 80s, Voltron wasn’t just a cartoon—it was a full-on playground myth. Five lions. One robot. And that moment when everything “forms” still hits the same today.
Voltron is a classic 1980s sci‑fi franchise best known for a giant robot that’s formed when five lion robots combine into one “Defender of the Universe.” It started as a Japanese series (Beast King GoLion) and was adapted into the English-language cartoon Voltron, becoming a huge pop-culture icon with toys, comics, and later reboots.

STAR WARS AT AT WALKER
I recently acquired a 2007 model of the ATT Walker from an online marketplace for just $20. The unit was in need of some serious TLC, so I took on the project of restoring it to its former glory. This particular model holds a special place in my heart, as I adored it during my childhood, even though I never had one of my own back then. Now, I’m excited to breathe new life into it, bringing back those nostalgic memories while making it walk again.
STAR WARS T65 X WING
Staying true to my love for the Star Wars universe, I recently purchased this X-Wing starfighter model on eBay for a mere $12. While it’s a fantastic find, it unfortunately has a few missing parts, including a critical component located above the cockpit, which I need to replace to complete its look. However, I have experience in model restoration, and I am optimistic about getting this iconic spacecraft back into flying condition soon. With some effort and the right replacements, I envision it soaring across my display shelf in all its glory!
